How Our Process Works

We are proud to be Invisalign^® certified Silver providers. Dr. Peroutka  and Dr. Asp specialize in the design and monitoring of Invisalign clear aligners for our patients.

• Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners to straighten your teeth discreetly and comfortably.
• The aligners are made using Dr. Peroutka  or Dr. Asp‘s expertise and 3-D computer imaging technology.
• Dr. Peroutka  or Dr. Asp takes digital images of your teeth and gums and uses 3D imaging software to create a series of aligners that gradually move your teeth into their proper positions.
• You wear each set of aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.
• For your clear braces to work effectively, you must wear them 20-22 hours a day.
• As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will gradually move until they have straightened to the final position Dr. Peroutka  or Dr. Asp prescribed.
• You’ll visit Cahill Dental Care about once every 6 weeks so that we can ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.
• Total treatment time averages 9 – 15 months, and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will vary from case to case.
